Alarms
RadarPing Professional alarms may be associated with any critical network event of a host, agent or service object. Different types of notification are available:
• Message: A message is shown on the screen.
• Sound: A sound is emitted. The sound may be a default sound, a WAV file or a digital voice, speaking a user-defined message.
• E-mail:An e-mail is sent to an arbitrary address informing about the occurred event.
• SMS:A short message is sent to a cellular/handheld (This feature depends on the characteristics and availability of the mobile phone service provider).
• Log File: The event will be logged to a file.
• Execute: An application is executed in response to the event.
• Script: A script is executed in response to the event.
