| Ping, SNMP and TCP/IP services
monitoring Ping PING represents the most basic monitoring feature. It checks if a server answers to a PING request. RadarPing periodically pings each device independently, waits for a reply and displays the RTT (Round-Trip Time). Latency, ping loss and uptime during a predefined period can be obtained using the RTT statistics module. All information is reported in real-time. Current and past problems may be readily identified and investigated. Latency, ping loss and uptime threshold values are configured for automatic alerting of potential problems of the monitored devices. Alarm status is indicated by colored icons both on the underlying map and the server list. SNMP SNMP is based on the manager/agent model. SNMP is referred to as "simple" because the agent requires minimal software. Radarping offers a complete SMNP-based monitoring tool with simple configuration. Acquired SNMP data are stored and can be retrieved graphicaly for detailed analysis online or at any later time. ![]() Pre-defined conversion options are available for a more compreensible graphical analisys TCP Services This option is used to test the availability of different applications. RadarPing sends a request according to each protocol to the server and analyzes the response. Standard services are pre-configured. In addition, any TCP or UDP service may be implemented using a simple scripting language. |
